How to revert back to webmail from Outlook Express

I changed my Squirrelmail Metronet email account to Outlook Express last night but SWMBO isn’t impressed. Any ideas how I go about reverting back to webmail without losing any emails?

Re: How to revert back to webmail from Outlook Express

Did you use IMAP or POP3 on Outlook Express?
If you used POP3 did you tick the box to say leave the emails on the server?

Thanks jelv. TBH it all happened a bit quick with a minimum if clicks, I used vista and Outlook 2007 and it seemed to do it all automatically. How could I find out what ‘options’ I chose?  Apparently the INBOX is now empty on webmail but our folders still have emails in them; obviously, we’d like to keep the inbox intact if we could

It sounds like you used POP3. The only way you are going to get them back is using IMAP. You'd have to set up another account in Outlook using IMAP settings (the incoming server will be imap.plus.net not mail not plus.net) and then copy all the emails across to the inbox folder.
