When I joined Plusnet, I set my email address to a well known free provider. That doesn't stop my Plusnet emails being delivered to my Plusnet account but it means that I always have a fallback if needed.
Standard practice and good advice, @daveplus . My default email is my Plusnet one, but I also have Yahoo, two Gmail and hotmail (or whatever they call it these days)
