How do I rid myself of linkedin?

I cannot stop unwanted linkedin emails being accepted into my inbox.
I have both their domain and their email address in my Blocked list.
Surely regardless of the strength of my spam filter, a block list is a block list!
linkedin appear to have an unsubscribe link, but so far as I can see, it leads you to subscribing, not unsubscribing!
How can I rid myself of these poachers of my privacy, trespassers in my Live Mail, thieves of my bandwidth?
Regards.....

Is this coming to a mailbox which is the catchall. If so it won't work

Thank you Old Jim, I haven't a copy right now, however, I'll send a copy as soon as the next one arrives!
None of my mailboxes are "Catchalls"

Re: How do I rid myself of linkedin?

Looking again at the linkedin "sent" domain I see that it's not as I thought earlier.  It appears to be bounce.linkedin.com
I have added this domain to my Blocked List and will see this works.

Hi Fotobits,
Go to https://www.linkedin.com/ and click on your name in the top right, it will ask you to login.
Select email preferences (middle left) and then set the frequency of emails.  You should be able to turn them off from there.

Re: How do I rid myself of linkedin?

Many thanks James, however, the link takes me to the attached.
The only option appears to be to join, which I'm unhappy to do!

Re: How do I rid myself of linkedin?

To get those emails, surely you must have an account in the first place?

Re: How do I rid myself of linkedin?

No, James.
I used to be harranged to join.....to add my business to their site....I'm actually retired.....and never responded!  Now they regularly send me confounded details of other subscribers.
I thought I could block them, however, that's not been possible so far and from their email properties it isn't easy to see the actrual source.  Perhaps it changes.....not sure!
Thanks anyway.....

Re: How do I rid myself of linkedin?

I have now added the Linkedin domain to my Norton Blocked List.  That might do it!
