Greenby SPAM filter - way too strict despite adjusting

Having been migrated from Plusnet to Greenby email last month, I have discovered that the Greenby SPAM filter is WAY more strict/aggressive than the Plusnet filters were. Initially, I was confused that I wasn't receiving emails that I was expecting. When I logged onto my email via the Greenby portal (I ordinarily use MS Outlook client) I discovered tens of emails in my Greenby JUNK folder, all of which I used to regularly receive before the migration. I marked all the ones I wanted as "not JUNK" (right click) but quickly established that this passes only THOSE emails to my inbox, and does not mark the sender as legitimate (yes, I have now added some addresses to my Greenby WHITELIST). Separately, I then adjusted my Greenby SPAM filter to allow more email through (up to "8 out of 10"). However, I discovered that many legitimate emails were STILL being blocked. I then opened up the SPAM filter to MAX (i.e. LEAST strict) last week, but now I discover that many legitimate emails are STILL being blocked/marked as SPAM!

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to not filter ANYTHING? I think I would rather choose to "police myself" with the few actual SPAM mails I receive than continually have to find legitimate ones in the Greenby portal JUNK folder. I'm yet to establish whether the addresses I've added to my WHITELIST are being allowed through...

Fix
I turned it off straight after the migration. From reading all the posts on here, everyone is having the same problem. The different levels don't actually appear to make any difference as to how sensitive the filter is.

My experience is that the whitelist/blacklist facility is non functional. Greenby needs to offer trainable SPAM filtering, i.e. when a sender is reported as SPAM, all subsequent should be redirected to SPAM/JUNK + blacklisted.

Again, not my experience!

Received another (unexpected) one of my regular Friday emails* today (Sunday) in my Greenby email account.
Didn't go to Spam, went to Inbox.

I think we can draw reasonable conclusions by now?

So, unless there really are two Greenbys - how do we explain this? As I have yet to receive any genuine Spam in my Greenby email account, I have not yet had the opportunity to test it the other way around.

* As reported elsewhere, the first one I received via Greenby went to Spam. I flagged it Not Spam, it moved to the Inbox and subsequent messages from the same source have not since been identified as Spam..

Re: Greenby SPAM filter - way too strict despite adjusting

Just a quick follow up on this.

As I posted elsewhere, I have in addition subsequently found that while my Plusnet email account span filter was set to OFF, in my transferred Greenby email account the spam filter was set to ON by default, with a setting of Level 3 "More Aggressive". I have since changed this to Level 8 "Less Aggressive".

I exclusively use the webmail client.
