Getting Postfix to connect to relay.plus.net

I'm trying to get postfix on one of my Linux boxes to send me cron mail logs.

When I try to connect I see the following using tcpdump

10:35:32.691276 IP Charon.home.49372 > relay.plus.net.submission: Flags [P.], seq 28:40, ack 183, win 237, length 12

E..bGk@.4......k...d.K..s{....w.P.......535 Too many SMTP auth failures. Please try again later.

I am certain that I have configured my account name and password correctly now - though it was incorrect on the previous attempt.

How to get the mail agent let me try again?

Dave

Re: Getting Postfix to connect to relay.plus.net

I've got my netgear router to send to mail server relay.plus.net and a valid email address.

Re: Getting Postfix to connect to relay.plus.net

Fixed now - was still using the wrong PW - forgot to update the /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd.db file after updating sasl_passwd.
