GDPR and insecure email.

I know insecure email is a long standing gripe of many people .

But with GDPR now in full swing and out for a while now, what are plusnet doing to sort it out? Are there any timescales to sort it out?

Article 32 of GDPR states
"the controller and the processor shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk"

The current email platform falls short of this.

Is there any chance of their being a reply this week or will I be waiting until next week?

Re: GDPR and insecure email.

Didn't the Data Protection Act have fairly similar requirements regarding security?

Re: GDPR and insecure email.

Similar sort of things. GDPR firmed things up a lot.

No response from Plusnet for two weeks is incredibly disappointing.
