Free-online migration - Nothing from Greenby but emails not arriving in Sub mailboxes

I have a legacy free-online account and received migration emails in April and July.  (Sent to ourmail@username.free-online.co.uk and postmaster@username.free-online.co.uk)

We use 2 sub mailboxes which have continued to receive emails (using IMAP) normally, until Monday 3rd Nov this week. Having seen Dave Tomlinson say : "… Free-online migrations are in progress. Force9 is likely to start next week.", I've been on the lookout for an email from Greenby, but noticed that emails to our sub-mailboxes seem to have stopped.

Yesterday (5th Nov) I sent emails to ourmail & postmaster which arrived in the catchall mailbox. I also sent a copy to one of the sub mailboxes which hasn't arrived by IMAP or webmail, but I've had no Delivery failure report.

I did a similar test this afternoon from a different external email account but still email added to catchall, none in sub-mailbox and no delivery failure report.

I'd intended to wait patiently for the Welcome email, but I'm now starting to worry that I may not see it.

I am having the exact same problem.  No email received if sent to any alias.  Only receiving on the main one.  Help!  I've got all my important things connected to one of my alias emails.

Now I cannot login to Sub accounts.  Only the account user works - even at webmail.plus.net. 

I am however seeing some emails sent to sub mailboxes arrive in the account mailbox. 

So how do I find out if the account been migrated? (Tho yesterday the Greenby Bot was insistent that "Migration for Free-Online has not started yet and no date has been announced." )

Would it be sensible to try logging into the Greenby portal?

Can someone clarify how to recognize the migration emails- Are they from Plusnet or Greenby? Is the subject clearer than "Important information about ...."

Well that is wrong!. I'm not sure whether all, but certainly some free-online accounts have been migrated!

When your account has migrated, you will get an email from support@greenby.com to your main account email address.

It starts...

The migration of your email has been successfully completed, and all of your existing messages, contacts, and settings are safely in place. With Greenby, you can continue to use your Plusnet email address with the same login details.

 

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

OK, I found that you can actually log into the greenby account using your old credentials even without greenby sending you a migration mail. I re-enabled there and it works.

There is still some confusion about the password log in change and how to set up mail boxes correctly but at least it's working for now.

I am having the same problem. I have received no emails on via Plusnet (I am also have Free-Online email) since the afternoon of Monday 10 November.

Following a talk with a Plusnet help centre rep, I have also found that I can log into Greenby with my old credentials. When I do so, I find the emails sent since the afternoon of Monday 10 November, but not all the earlier ones.

So, at the moment the earlier ones are all inaccessible, since I can no longer log in to my Plusnet email, whether on Webmail or Thunderbird or any other app. The rep said that they will be transferred over the next week. Hopefully, that is the case, but I am worried about this, give past problems with Plusnet and emails.

The Greenby website has an FAQ on this, which says:

How does the migration work?

You’ll receive notice 60 and 30 days before the migration. On the migration day, all your email data, settings, domains, and DNS will be transferred to Greenby. Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email and can log in to your Greenby dashboard to manage everything as before.

 

The Plusnet rep has confirmed that I have not received any notice of the migration. Also, the idea that it takes a week for the past messages to migrate over, seems inconsistent with what this FAQ says, and with what I recall was said in the original email from Plusnet announcing the move to Greenby.

Does anyone have any more information about how this process is working and how likely it is that I will be able to recover my old (or even not very old) emails?

Well - I finally bit the bullet and tried logging on at https://webmail.enmail.co as mentioned elsewhere. 

It worked for the accountname@username.free-online.co.uk and for the 2 main sub-mailboxes that we use. All recent emails that I'd expected were present but most older ones were missing. (Since when varied between mailboxes).

On the strength of that I tried logging into the Greeenby portal (https://greenby.com) with my account name & pw.

That also worked and I apparently have 18 days to renew my subscription.

No sign yet of the famous "Welcome email" but I've not dug far yet.
