Folders for saved emails

I have some emails that I want to keep together in a folder but can't see how to do this on the PlusNet email site.  I can do it easily on Mozzilla, Outlook etc using tool bar at the top but this isn't visible on PlusNet.  You sorted out my 'emailing group' problem so am hoping for same here.  Please keep explanation very simple.
Thank you.

Re: Folders for saved emails

If by "Plusnet email site" you mean webmail, you can create additional folders as follows.
Login then click the Gear wheel icon which is at the bottom-left corner of the display.
Select (click on) Manage folders.
A + sign will now appear. Click that and a (new) Folder properties display will open in the right-hand pane.
Type a name for the new folder in the Folder name box and click Save to create it.
The new folder will appear in the list. Click + again to create another folder.
Now click Mail top-left to return to the Inbox display.
Find emails you want to move in the list, and use drag and drop to move them to the new folder(s).
CTRL-click or Shift-click selects multiple messages which can be moved using the standard drag and drop process.
Click on a folder name to list the contents of that folder.

Re: Folders for saved emails

Thanks for this.  Have printed it off so I can follow instructions.  I do find the PlusNet site more difficult to navigate than others.  They seem to assume users understand/have good knowledge of how to use the internet.  I think a lot of older people use PlusNet because of UK telephone centres which they feel they can trust.  Will say, whenever I have problem the kind people on the forum are always able to help.  SO big thank you from confused oap!

Re: Folders for saved emails

@76nil you have hit the nail on the head. Plusnet started off as a service for geeks when the internet was limited to early adopters and pioneers. Now they have to compete in the mass market and there are differences in websites between PN and the competition and others. I am happy with the hark back to an earlier age and the tradition is what makes this forum and the mutual help available.

Re: Folders for saved emails

Once you've clicked settings, click the folders tab. Click a folder and then some more tabs will appear, e.g. the information tab will allow you to see how many messages there are in the folder and click a link to see its size. If you want to add a new folder, there is a + sign at the bottom left corner of the folder pane.
