On this page: https://www.plus.net/help/email-guides/how-to-set-up-plusnet-email/ if you click on 'What other settings do I need' it says that for the SMTP and POP3 server names for Force9 accounts .plus.net should be replaced by .force9.co.uk. However the Force9 servers are not mail.force9.co.uk and relay.force9.co.uk: they are mail.force9.net and relay.force9.net:
peter@gifford:~$ telnet relay.force9.net 25

If anyone from Plusnet reads this could they please get the instructions corrected? Thanks.

The place to find the correct settings is in the member centre, connection settings, connection details.
