Have traced one of the emaisl you said didn't turn up. It left our network within a minute of being sent and was passed to a mail server with the IP address 195.50.106.142.
This is a BT/Yahoo! server:
~$ host 195.50.106.142
142.106.50.195.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mta-v1.bt.mail.vip.ukl.yahoo.com
From there I cannot tell you what happened because that will have been entirely down to BT/Yahoo!
