Email to Tiscali are being rejected

We repeatedly see emails to Tiscali and to TalkTalk destinations rejected with the same errors.

Trying twice this morning to one destination, (my father in law) we have two copies of :

Well that's a bit of a scam, senderscore.org blocklist lookup asking for personal information just to lookup an IP address. I did not go any further.

In regards to @PhilipHeyes I hope all your checking you've been doing hasn't gotten your IP on a blocklist somewhere. Might be an idea to check on a website that doesn't ask personal info just to see the rating. I know there's one that checks multiple lists but I can't remember it at the moment (I'll probably remember some time later).

My checking is very simple I read the delivery failure information returned to MS Outlook.

We can see Plusnet's outbound email server: avasout-ptp-004.plus.net [84.93.230.250] was the rejected IP

The rejection reads : Connection refused - [84.93.230.250] blocked

Over recent months we have also seen the following Plusnet outbound email servers rejected
with an identical delivery failure message :

avasout-peh-001 [212.159.14.17] blocked by Talk Talk
avasout-peh-002 [212.159.14.18] blocked by Talk Talk
avasout-peh-003 [212.159.14.19] blocked by Talk Talk
avasout-ptp-003 [84.93.230.244] blocked by Talk Talk

avasout-ptp-003 [84.93.230.244]    blocked by Tiscali

Our most recent emails to a Tiscali destination on 15/01/2026 have all been delivered successfully.

A very good result.

If it is possible to do the same for iCloud which remains a constant rejector, that too would be a huge help.

Same here. Email sent from Outlook (MS Office 2019 suite) are being rejected by iCloud.com "due to local policy" over the last three months.  Many other users have reported the problem.

The choice of email client does not appear to matter.

The email resulting in the rejection below was sent from an email app on an Android mobile phone,
the problem is not limited to sending from MS Outlook installed on a Windows 11 laptop.

@PhilipHeyes The client/program you are sending from is definitely not the issue - It is Tiscali (TalkTalk)'s choice of Senderscore as a filtering agent.
