Email sync'd on pc and ipad, is it possible ?

Can anyone please advise if can send and recieve on more than one device and them all to
  see all sent/recieved items ?
Not sure if the imap is on offer or way to go ?

IMAP should be the best way forward, assuming each can be set up similarly with sent messages being stored on the server rather than something locally (iPad should be ok with default setup but with PC software it might need a bit of configuring depending on what you use).
