Email server error.

Why am I getting this and can't send or receive emails???

Hi there.

Sorry for the delayed response. Following your post from being split from another user's topic as it wasn't relevant to what was being discussed there, it doesn't look like it came through to the internal system we use when responding.

Are you able to send mail through webmail at http://webmail.plus.net? This will narrow down where the issue may lie. Let us know how it goes and once you respond again your post should come through correctly this time for us to review.

EXACTLY what are you doing which leads to this error?

A quick Google search (0x80070057 windows live mail) found this - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/all/windows-live-mail-error-id-0x80070057/a063... - which might help if this issue arises from attempting to send an object from the context of the object (send as an email attachment).

There are a lot of other examples referring to sending emails with attachments using WLM.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
