Email not connecting to server.... AGAIN

Had this issue a few months, then a few weeks ago, short term fix- changed mail server address to 212.159.9.86 until problem was resolved. Same issue is occuring tonight since 5pm but 212.159.9.86 nor 212.159.8.86 not working.

Anyone else having the same issues? -Plusnet- whats up THIS TIME??????

You beat me to it........same here, a repetition of the same old issue I had about a month ago POP3 error.

Frustrating and sad that Plusnet have failed to resolve this issue once and for all. I guess no one in Plusnet can be bothered to take ownership of this problem!

Same issue here, POP3 failure to connect... can send but not receive mail. Been down a few hours now, which is very inconvenient. Plusnet fix it please!

Yup!  Me too - AGAIN.  Personally, I'm sick to the [-Censored-] end with this never-ending (it seems) loss of service.  So, bye-bye Plusnet.  If you can't fix the problem, I'm off to find an ISP who can, or rather, one who doesn't have the problem in the first place.  Please don't reply to tell me how hard you're working to resolve the 'issue', because I've heard it all before, several times.

Can we run through the collective knowledge of which addresses might work ?

I have been using 212.159.8.81 since the last issue a month or two back.  That has stopped working today.

When this happened before (in September) my emails would occasionally download -- but this time it seems like a total blockage.

mail.plus.net IS now working although the IP addresses aren't.

Pop still not working for me, although my phone and tablet can connect as they use imap.plus.net laptop uses pop server and refuses to connect. Tried phone on pop and no connection. Using thunderbird on laptop and general email Client on Android phone.

What are the ip addresses people are mentioning?

Maybe FF101 just got lucky, very briefly. POP3 still solidly broken for me, using either 212.159.8.81 or mail.plus.net. I seem to remember that 212.159.8.81 was one of two possible IP addresses but I don't remember the other one to try.

Thanks. Will stick with imap.plus.net for the moment I think. Odd that I changed the laptop settings to imap.plus.net but it didn't work!!

Indeed, lucky !   mail.plus.net working on laptop but nothing working on phone.
