It was good around lunchtime

its now 19-07 and i cannot even log on to webmail

just sits there loading then red server box says invalid request or get Hmm cannot reach that page

only have webmail   xxxx@xxxx.plus.com

Sunday morning 10:00 am Webmail is not loading... https://webmail.plus.net/?_task=login just give me a blank screen....

I can confirm Webmail is offline.

I get a white screen with just this messaghe:

This page isn’t working

webmail.plus.net is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500
 
All well with Plusnet email via Outlook 365 though.

Same. Webmail was struggling earlier this morning (timeouts, incomplete messages, PHP errors about resolving hostnames), then the hostname itself wasn't resolving for a while.

When it was working, the login screen mentioned migrations were occurring but there's nothing I can see on the forums about this (not that there's much communication about the migration process anyway). Frustrating because it's been a pain to try and deal with emails for a while now and I was hoping to catch up today.

Edit: the one posted fails for me as well

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Problem is, https://webmail.plus.net is currently showing a blank page.

I have very rarely used PN  webmail (or any ISP webmail) - a proper client seems to work considerably better, on POP3 anyway.

I suspect, but can't confirm, as that is not how my client is set up, that similar issues can be found on clients set up on IMAP.

Having spoken to support today about this issue which I have had for about 4 days they informed me this could continue till after migration to greenby .

Basically I (we)may not be able to receive or send mail for weeks , as I say I have not been able to receive any new emails for days which obviously is going to be a big problem for people but there does not appear to be a fix at least via Plusnet support 

Server overwhelmed still 60000 people to be migrated was what I was told.

I am looking at setting up another email address and starting the enormous task of updating all my contacts 

terrible situation but this is where we are.

Not sure telephone support is always the most reliable. Webmail is back up for me and loading quick quickly after about an hour. (Which isn't to say it will be all day!).

Just tried PN webmail myself. A little slow but it seems to be working.

Unlikely that this will last until migrations have completed. Any potential Issue today seems to be something else. Yes, webmail will run slow, but the aim is to ensure it's still usable when migrations are happening.

 

Any further details about your problem of not getting email are welcomes, along with your username (by PM) so I can check when I'm in the office. I am not sure where the figure quoted has come from within Call centre as they, AFAIK, don't have access to that information. 

I am convinced email will work going forward for you when we get to the bottom of the current glitch.

Genuinely sympathise @kenm , but the problem is clearly not universal..

I have the same account format as you, I'm using this webmali address https://webmail.plus.net/

and it's working fine for me.

Inbox loads in approx 5 seconds.

Hope our friends at PN can sort you out.
