Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

Just that! I found a non-spam email in my Spam folder today, so went to my Whitelist to add the address, only to find it was there already from when I added it last time a similar email - a newsletter from my bank - got caught. I'm pretty sure I saved it last time (or else it shouldn't be in the list) but I 'saved' it again, so fingers crossed when the next one arrives.

Re: Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

I'm having the same problem - see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,86403.msg718307.html#msg718307
I've a ticket that's been bouncing backwards and forwards trying to stop the Sainsbury's emails being treated as spam.

Re: Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

Not just me then!
Mine are just hiding in the Spam mailbox on webmail, so really easy to 'release'! I report anything legitimate in there as 'not spam' too, so I would have thought that should make a difference but it hasn't.
Haven't got mail set to quarantine spam but have filter on setting 2 as with setting 1 more rubbish gets through.

Re: Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

Guys, is there anywhere I can signup to receive these emails to make replicating the problem a little easier?
Can you raise a support ticket containing a copy of the email in question (and a brief description of the problem)? @jelv, is this information on one of your open tickets already?

Re: Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

The one I get is only for customers of the particular bank. Didn't sign up for it, just get it automatically to the contact address I gave them.

Bob, The notifications are still in the Saved folder on the J... mailbox and the last quarantined email received is still in quarantine

Re: Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

Mine is in my Inbox now - won't be automatically deleted till a week after it downloaded to my Mac's Mail, which was this morning after I 'liberated' it from the Spam folder. Dated Thurs (10th June) 2:14pm and in the sxxxxcxxxx Inbox if you have access to that.

Re: Email from whitelisted address in Spam folder

Thanks guys, I've grabbed those two messages and have raised an internal problem which I'll pursue early next week (ref: 62321).
