I have to say that the email, which I've only just received, is very badly worded and made me wonder if I was going to have to change ISP.

I am one of those who sends my emails from my own domains, which are hosted in a number of places, and would not want to send as my Plusnet ID, which is known to nobody but me and Plusnet.

Whoever writes these things, please get them to think through what they are writing a lot better.

Thank you for the feedback and I'll pass it on, however, the vast majority of recipients of that email are not technically minded and our testing suggested that the variant of text you received was less likely to drive contacts. In that regard, it seems to have been successful.

Sorry if I have missed the answer to this, but do I need to change the outbound server in my Globalnet email account?

At the moment it is "smtpmail.globalnet.co.uk"

My PlusNet email account is already relay.plus.net

According to the plusnet list: https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/How-to-change-your-outgoing-server-on-a-mail-client/td-p/1606155

you are already using the correct server for Globalnet: smptmail.globalnet.co.uk , so no change needed.
