Email folders have disappeared

Hi all

Hello I am new to the Forum and would like some help please

Some of my Email folders have disappeared and I have no idea why, or how to get them back

Any advice would be appreciated

Are you referring to webmail or IMAP folders?

It is the folders in my email, if that helps

so which program are you using if it isn't webmail

It is webmail, sorry I am not terribly computer literate.  I am grateful for your help

If you login to webmail, then click the small gear icon bottom left and select Manage Folders you should get a list like in the following image

The first five folders are the standard ones and for these the check-boxes should be ticked but greyed out. Your folders should be listed below these - do any show there, and if so are the check-boxes I've highlighted all ticked?

Thank you for your reply.  have done as you suggested but no the folders are not showing

That doesn't look good.

How long is it since you know the now-missing folders were there?

Have you set up more than one mailbox? Is it possible that you are logged into a different mailbox from the one that contains those folders?

For reference if needed;

Default mailbox: Login to webmail using accountname and account password
Additional mailboxes: Login using accountname+mailboxname with mailbox password.

It was only this week I noticed the folders missing, I am at a loss to know what has happened, I will have to contact plus net I think
