Email errors (sporadic)

Anyone else seeing occasional errors?

This has been going on for a couple of hours, although there have only been 5 incidences so far.

[Edit] now happening much more frequently - about every 2 or 3 attempts at mail collection

Yeah, me too - password rejected on 4 separate mailboxes on my PlusNet account!
Noticed this happening about a week ago then started working again - this evening the problem is back, I've not changed anything at my end and the connection is fine (as I'm posting this!), must be something at PlusNet's end
Are PlusNet working on this issue?

I have raised a ticket, but it could be a few hours before they read it.
There should be a way of reporting faults and then others can just click 'me too'.

I'm, assuming now is all OK, we're not aware of any reason for this happening to be honest, it has been noted and I'll report back if we know any more.

There are three computers in our household, and all three are having trouble receiving or sending emails.  This only started to happen yesterday 17th January, before that everything was fine. 
One of the computers has outlook 2010, another has Outlook 2007 and the third has Thunderbird.  I am trying to send an important email from the computer with Thunderbird, and the 'sending message' dialogue box is still running after 10 to 15 minutes.
I seem to remember reading in one of the forum topics,or a blog, that you have recently change the email platform.  Has this got something to do with it?  Do I need to delete the current account, and re-add it?

The only computer running 24/7 in our house is a desktop running outlook. For the last two weeks or so it has been coming up with authentication errors overnight. About every second night.

At 9.30 today both my phone and my computer were unable to connect to the server. This is the first time since 17th.
This is just a heads-up that something might be amiss at Plusnet Towers.
