Email addresses in Address book have become corrupt

This problem was first reported to you on Monday 20th Feb .... it is now 3 weeks since it was first reported and is becoming a real pain

Plus 4 weeks since this fault was first reported and it is still not resolved... this is absolutely pathetic ... being sorry and offering to up the priority if more are affected is not much of an answer ... it sounds like "tough luck there aren't many of you so just put up with it" ... is that really the impression you want to create ?

Not at all.
I have mentioned that I'll update you all as soon as I see some movement on this issue, I don't believe I've made any promises to up the priority though, but it does look like that may now be needed.

I'm still going to do that anyway and follow that up too . I'll have a chat with a colleague about the issue (which we have logged against 70437) and will reply again later to advise what can be done.

No problem, I know other issues with squirrel mail have been fixed by the same upgrade so all should be well now

And all indeed is now well. Many thanks to the team for working on this and correcting the problem; sounds like you've gone through a bit of a learning process in finding a solution, if so then at least some good has come of it.

squirrel mail worked OK for about 2 weeks ... then it stopped and and now it has disappeared as has the metronet forum ... is this the end ?

Hi there. The original Metronet forums were retired years ago when we did away with the individual Plusnet, Force9 & FreeOnline boards. Regarding SquirrelMail, we replaced it yesterday with an alternative Webmail solution. The old SquirrelMail platform is still accessible for Plusnet customers so not sure why it isn't for Metronet users. I'll check to see whether or not this was an oversight ...

I now have no contacts in our address book on the new webmail.
Please tell me that you haven’t moved us to a new webmail platform, without any prior notification, and lost all our contacts in the process. How do I now access our email contacts?
