Email address not receiving emails from any contact other than plusnet

My Grandfather has recently encountered a problem where he has been unable to receive any emails, apart from those from Plusnet please help us out

A warm welcome to the forums.
Some information here (beyond "it does not work") might help us to give you the right advice...
- Which ISP email are you referring to - Plusnet or one of the legacy brands?
- How is the email box being accessed - Plusnet webmail or which email program on what device?
- How do you know that there are emails other than those sent by Plusnet?
- If you have tried to email him, what response did you receive?
- Is he looking at the correct mailbox?
Plusnet emails generally go to the DEFAULT mailbox usually mail@useraccount.plus.net or useraccount@useraccount.plus.net
If you are sending to dad@useraccount.plus.net then that could be a secondary mailbox which has different connection details - for that the username will be useraccount+dad
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
