Email address not receiving emails from any contact other than plusnet

My Grandfather has recently encountered a problem where he has been unable to receive any emails, apart from those from Plusnet please help us out

A warm welcome to the forums.

Some information here (beyond "it does not work") might help us to give you the right advice...

  1. Which ISP email are you referring to - Plusnet or one of the legacy brands?
  2. How is the email box being accessed - Plusnet webmail or which email program on what device?
  3. How do you know that there are emails other than those sent by Plusnet?
  4. If you have tried to email him, what response did you receive?
  5. Is he looking at the correct mailbox?

Plusnet emails generally go to the DEFAULT mailbox usually mail@useraccount.plus.net or useraccount@useraccount.plus.net

If you are sending to dad@useraccount.plus.net then that could be a secondary mailbox which has different connection details - for that the username will be useraccount+dad
