Email File Limit

What is the maximum file size that can be sent via a plusnet email?
For example, when sending a number of jpeg images via plusnet, what is the MB limit for all the files attached to that message?
Or alternatively, what would the limit be for one huge file?

Thanks.

Re: Email File Limit

100MB when MIME encoded which in practice means around 80-85MB in total.

Re: Email File Limit

Email is pretty inefficient for sending large files from my experience. You might be better using an online file locker that you can share the link to the files from if possible.

Re: Email File Limit

Thanks for advice.  When I split the files into groups they were below the limit so went off OK.
I take the point about the online locker.  I have never used one myself although I have files sent to me that way sometimes.
