Email Account Only

Hi, Is there anyone else out there that has an "email only" account with plusnet.

I have been having problems with being able to send messages. Some of my contacts have received the email but others have not. Has anyone else experienced this fault?

Hi there, normally, error 500 means you have authentication missing.  I don't use PN email only, but this error is a mail server error, not specifically PN.  Make sure you have put the correct settings in place for PN email requirements.  E.G., on my mail server I need full email address for user name, a password and the outgoing mail server requires authentication which, in my case, is email and password again.  Port numbers need to be correct (I don't know what PN use), mine are 465 and 993 with SSL encryption
