E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

Hi.,
I have a Wordpress plug-in on my ccgi space that has been e-mailing a copy of the database to my Plusnet inbox each evening.  The attachment filename is in the syntax 'xxx_pn_blog_20111023_855.sql.gz' and the size is approx 3300kb
However, since the recent anti-spam migration, the e-mails are undeliverable - reason "5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 552-'Spam Message Rejected '".
I should be grateful for any help on how I can stop these particular e-mails being treated as spam.

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

I've just sent an email from a PHP application on Force9 ccgi and that got through to me. The route was
application -> localhost (web server) -> relay.pcl-ipout02.plus.net -> avasin13 (Cloudmark) -> inmx15.plus.net
So it looks like in your case the message content has probably been scored as spam. I suspect a copy of the message will be needed for training purposes.

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

I've already noticed this when looking into another question asked by Jelv in the thread here. I'll report back once I've had the opportunity to discuss it with a few people...

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

Thanks Bob, I'll await your investigations.  As spraxyt suggests, perhaps it's the gzipped file type that this particular system doesn't like?

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

I've just sent an email with subject but no body text, one xxxx.gz and one dbname-description_yyyy-mm-dd.sql.gz file attached from Thunderbird on my PC to a different mailbox - no problems with this. These went through Cloudmark on the way out and again on the way in. Routing:
Thunderbird -> avasout02.plus.net -> avasin09 -> inmx03.plus.net
My sql.gz file was 269kB, much smaller than yours, and the other file only 6kB but Cloudmark was happy with them.

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

@jtonline, are you still having problems?
We think we've found your emails in the logs. If we're looking in the right place then the evidence suggests that the messages /were/ failing reputation checks but are now getting though unscathed?
If you are still having problems then are you able to change the destination mailbox to a non-Plusnet address and then send us a copy of one of the emails complete with headers? That way we can look into it further...

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

@Bob Pullen, yes, still got the problem.
The plugin e-mails haven't reached me since 23rd October.  I can back-up another way, albeit manually, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
The next one is scheduled for 8pm tonight.  If that's rejected too I'll try and do as you suggest because it would be useful to get it working again the way it used to.
Thanks for your help thus far.

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

@Bob Pullen, OK, the e-mail was rejected again and so I got the plugin to send the e-mail with database backup attached to a yahoo.co.uk address.
The message body reads:
 Attached to this email is
 jtonline_pn_blog_20111031_864.sql.gz
 Size:1858 kilobytes
The subject title is 'jtonline Database Backup'

Let me know if you need a copy of the gzipped sql file attachment, and if so, how I should get it to you.
Yahoo put the mail into my spam folder, but it did get delivered.
Regards,
Jules.

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

First time I have posted, so I hope I get the format right.
I have trawled through all the posts and can find many similar issues, but nothing that appears to be the same as ours.
We run 20 or so web systems through different accounts on PN to manage and administer sports associations.  These are all running php/MySQL on the ccgi platform. As part of this, the systems automatically send out reminders to members to do certain things, typically to enter availability to be considered to umpire/referee on certain dates.
In some circumstances the emails are copied to the treasurer or secretary using (for example) secretary@domainname which is set as a redirect through the account.
For about the last 10 days, pretty much all of these messages to the PN email accounts are being rejected and the notification of rejection is being sent to the postmaster.
The vast majority have this error ...
5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 552-'Spam Message Rejected '
The detail shows ...
Reporting-MTA: dns; relay.pcl-ipout01.plus.net
Final-Recipient: rfc822;<deleted>
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure)
Remote-MTA: dns; [212.159.8.200]
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 552-'Spam Message Rejected ' (delivery attempts: 0)

What do we need to do to get the new anti-spam to allow ALL emails that originate from the web system (ccgi)?

Re: E-mail from my ccgi to my Plusnet inbox being rejected

@TexSolutions, can you change the destination email address to a third-party mailbox and then provide me with the headers/content from one of these messages? That way I can try and find out what's happening.
Jules, can you PM me with the specific email address your messages are being sent from/to?

I have moved the post from Tex Solutions to the hidden forums as it contains a lot of email addresses which will be picked up by scammers
