Does anyone know if it is just coincidence that Advanced Webmail seems to be more reliable than Basic Webmail ? Do they use the same servers ?
The reason I ask is that I the Basic Webmail often - read regulalrly ! - times out or crashes, whereas Advnaced Webmail seems to be a better service. I prefer the Basic Webmail because I just use it for housekeeping my archive, and it "does what it says on the tin". But sometimes it is not readily accessible, which is why I wondered if it uses a separate server to Advanced Webmail ?

Oh, the old timed out and log back in issues. These problems were always around with squirrel mail. A "fix" was to set, in the prefs, a low refresh time for your mail but this only reduces the timeouts and doesn't completely get rid of the annoying tendency.
That's RPM to you!!
