Cloudmark trialists wanted

Afternoon folks,
I have a favour to ask...
We've recently been looking into alternatives to the IronPort anti-spam network appliances that we use for our customer-facing anti-spam platform.
One potential alternative is an MTA supplied by a company called Cloudmark. This MTA uses Cloudmark Authority to identify, manage and effectively deal with junk/virus email traffic (similar to IronPort's 'Senderbase' reputation filters).
Cloudmark looks to do a good job of balancing cost against functionality, and it's also geared towards service providers rather than corporate environments (other solutions tend to focus on the latter).
Initial investigations suggest that Cloudmark will integrate well into our systems and will also help reduce the amount of spam traffic that leaves our network.
We're not definitely moving to Cloudmark, however we would like to repoint a handful of customers' email traffic through the devices to get a feel for how things will work.
This is where you guys come into it!
If you'd like to help us out then can you reply to this thread giving your consent?
We'll probably look at making the changes next Thursday and they'll be in place for at least a week. All we really want to get a feel for is whether or not you notice any major differences (all being well, you won't).
Those using IronPort's Quarantine functionality will probably want to step out of this one as I don't think that will work once your mail's been repointed. It's also pretty critical that you have spam filtering turn on rather than disabled.
The Manage My Mail interface /should/ retain most of its functionality and the spam controls should also work too. Whilst it's highly unlikely you'll lose any email, please do be mindful that this is relatively new to us, so the usual caveats you'd associate with a trial apply.
We're hoping to get around 15-20 participants as a minimum, but we'll happily accept more.
Thanks!

Re: Cloudmark trialists wanted

will we be able to see what they have filtered out, as with Iron port I have had several false positives,  If I can see the filtered I dont mind going on the trial (I regularly get them from I assume a french facebook contact)

Will my IMAP set up still work?  If so, I don't mind helping out.

Re: Cloudmark trialists wanted

As with IronPort the Cloudmark system should influence emails only up to refusal, or to delivery to a mailbox (or spam folder). POP3 and IMAP come into play only from that point so email collection clients using either of these protocols shouldn't be affected by the preceding anti-spam processes.
I think the link for Cloudmark Authority should be this one.

Re: Cloudmark trialists wanted

Hi all,
Just to let you know in Bob's absence that the work to move triallists over to Cloudmark is being carried out this evening. The impact of this most likely won't be evident until after midnight tonight.

Re: Cloudmark trialists wanted

If you look at the email headers,
Plusnet Cloudmark Gateway will receive the message from the sending server.
and instead of lines such as
X-SBRS: 3.6
X-IronPort-Anti-Spam-Filtered: true
X-IronPort-Anti-Spam-Result:
you will find
X-CM-Score: 0.00
X-CNFS-Analysis

Re: Cloudmark trialists wanted

@Bob
on one of my mail boxes Mr@ I used to get t least three spams a day under ironport, now I have none, I also had three positives on that same mail box
I did ask do we get a copy of the detected spams in our spam box, if no how do I find false positives
I use Thunderbird and IMAP so files still on server
