Change of ISP but retaining email address

I would like to change ISP but keep my free-online.co.uk email address as it is well known and I don't want the hassle of changing it. I understand there is an email only option for £20+ per year but am not sure how I can make sure that this is implemented. I can't afford to be without email!
Would I keep the same MS Outlook settings as I have now?
Any experiences of the email only package would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance

Re: Change of ISP but retaining email address

I saw in paper yesterday that ex BT Broadband customers who want to retain a BT e mail address now have to pay £5pm for the privilege Sad

Yes, BT has more than trebled its charge for so-called 'premium' email even though it's often the old BT Yahoo email that was hacked a few yrs back. Can highly recommend Fastmail at £7 per year, three mins to set up, much faster than BT.

Just make sure you mention it when requesting your account is cancelled.

Yep!
