I'm a previous freenetname customer, then madasafish and now plusnet.
My emails have been working fine up until now.
My master mailbox works ok (email@example.com) to send and receive emails but my additional mailboxes which are the ones I use and are set to my domain no longer work. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
when trying to send/receive an email with an additional mailbox I get this error message -
Task 'email@example.com - Sending' reported error ( 0x800CCC78 ) 'Cannot send the message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 <firstname.lastname@example.org> sender rejected - invalid domain (no MX or A record)'
When someone emails an additional mailbox it bounce straight back.
My domain name appears active / registered.
I have spoken to customer support who have sent a message to the network team to have a look at this but would really appreciate it if someone could give me some advice to resolve the issue please.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've had.
From reviewing your account it appears the cause of this is that your domain has expired.
I've passed this to the relevant team for it to be renewed and we'll get that done as soon as possible.
