Cannot send totalise emails

I have a totalise email address and have had it for over 20 years.  Today I am unable to send emails I get the following message Error(Ox800CCC78)  550 Sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy).  It was working perfectly on Friday.

I am struggling to find out how to report or solve the issue.  Plusnet refer you to Greenby, Greenby have not onboarded the totalise accounts so refer me back to Plusnet.

I tried calling, initially 20 min wait, then 40 min and last time i tried was over an hour.

Yes, the issue is still there, unable to send e-mails

Just tried sending from webmail, same issue, Error 550 sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy).

I'm having exactly the same issue with a Care4free.net e-mail address - at first, all emails and web stopped working, for a couple of hours on 18th September 2025, then everything else came back, apart from the ability to send e-mails, where the error message about SMTP Error 550 , email balcklisted by local policy etc. Help!

Yes, I'm on  totalise. Heard about the migration to the new provider, but have not received anything about thus to date so unsure of its related.

Still cannot send emails.  Doesnt matter if I use the PC (outlook), Webmail, or my phone(Android) I get the same answer.

Same here. Totalise address, haven’t been able to send emails since Friday. Incoming messages are fine. I have messaged Plusnet on X this morning but no reply so far. At least if the same issue is affecting many of us then hopefully they are aware!

I am also having the same issue with my Totalise Account, regardless of whether I use my mailserver (Mailbird) or log in to plusnet webmail.

The error message is 

550 <xxxxxx@totalise.co.uk> sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy)
xxxxx@totalise.co.uk: 503 need MAIL before RCPT

I'm also having issues with a 25 year old totalise email account. The message i get is: Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Cannot send the message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy)'

I've just tried it following your comment and still get the same response, unfortunately.
