Cannot access my Madasafish emails

Please can anyone help me.
Up until yesterday my Madasafish emails were working fine on both my MacBook Laptop and my iPhone. Then for some reason the iPhone stopped being able to send or receive emails.
The laptop continued to work but now this morning on logging on this also fails to send and receive and keeps asking me to re-enter my credentials.
On the iPhone I have tried removing the account and then adding again using my full email address as the username along with my password. This, constantly returns login failed (authentication issue - The password is correct).
I have rechecked the incoming and outgoing server settings and confirmed these to be:
Incoming:
imap.plus.net
Port 993
SSL on
username + password
Outgoing:
relay.plus.net
Port 587 (StartTLS)
SSL on
username + password
I did get a friend to check things over for me and they ran some curl commands to ensure that the servers were responding. Both inbound and outbound servers reported back login failed when using my Madasafish email as the username.
However, if I use the Plusnet username assigned to me (<redacted>) with the same password - I successfully log in and authenticate to both the inbound and outbound servers, but none of my Madasafish emails are present (empty account).
Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this or am I missing something as I currently now have no email on both my iPhone and MacBook.
