Cannot access email services from browser

Hi peeps.
New to PlusNet and went to sign up an email address today, but cannot access the "manage my email" link from my account page (or anywhere else for that matter....)
Have tried in both IE11 and Chrome browsers.
When I click on the link, the page goes to -
https://portal.plus.net/my.html?iBM6ixw%2FMsunCk0SoAvZoHAqsv5wvha0fPp8vZaW4lks4EZu8UeyMA%3D%3D&redir...
- but this is a blank page and just hangs there.
Anyone else had issues with this and any workaround (such as cookies, etc), or anyone know if service is currently down?
Thanks in advance

Re: Cannot access email services from browser

You could try the shortcut link http://email.plus.net.
However, has your broadband service gone live yet? Until it does I don't think you can create mailboxes from a non-Plusnet connection.

Re: Cannot access email services from browser

Hi Spraxyt,
Thanks for the response. Yes, we had gone live when I posted up the topic.
I have tried it again since, and also the link you supplied, and still not getting anywhere. Just keep being taken to a blank page that hangs.
Any other ideas from anyone?

Re: Cannot access email services from browser

IIRC PN broadband residential packages no longer include email.
I suspect the the link to manage email might still be visible in the portal, but as the package is not allocated to the account, when you select the link, nothing happens.

As far as I'm aware residential broadband still comes with email.
It looks like the email component on titch1971's account might need resetting. Hopefully Plusnet staff will take a look in the morning.

I've just tried to replicate the issue but it's let me straight in.
Are you able to try from a different computer/device?

@DCT,
What is the current score on email on residential accounts please?  I thought there was some discussion about dropping the email service on residential accounts.  Their package descriptions says nothing about email.  The BUSINESS package descriptions clearly and explicitly reference the included email functionality.
Is one seeing a 'conspiracy' out of misremembering and omission of marketing detail?

Re: Cannot access email services from browser

Residential accounts don't have an email account assigned by default, however this can be selected during signup or at a later date.
