Can’t set up email on new phone

I have a new Samsung S20. Have tried to set up email. All settings are identical to those on my old phone and iPad, but when I try to sign in I get “ couldn’t verify account. The username or password is incorrect or POP3/IMAP access isn’t turned on or this account. Check your email settings on the web, then try again”. I have triple checked all the settings with my old phone, and my iPad, and they are all identical. Can anyone advise, please? Thanks

A warm welcome to the forums.
You are not clear about what email application you are using on the Samsung.
Are you using encryption on the IMAP and SMTP servers?
Your description does not indicate if the issue is with the inbound or outbound server does the application differentiate?
Finally are you connecting over Plusnet WiFi of 3/4/5G mobile?
Is the old phone an android or an iPhone?
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
