Can I use a domain hosted elsewhere?

I'd like to bring yet another Business ADSL account into the PlusNet fold, but need to be able to keep the associated domain hosted elsewhere.
Is it posible to simply alter the MX Record of the associated domain (to point to the PlusNet Servers) and then use the PlusNet email facilities in exactly the same as if the domain was hosted by PlusNet?

Where have you got the DNS recods now and do they offer free email forwarding?

Re: Can I use a domain hosted elsewhere?

To point the MX records for the domain to the PN servers the domain has to be set as hosted by Plusnet. I can't see why you wouldn't then be able to set up DNS records for www and anything else to point elsewhere - but it's not something I have tried.
