Attachments not sending

Trying to send an attachment (photos) by Gmail using outlook 2007 but nothing being received by recipient. Message shows as sent in sent items box but its not. I then get automated message back saying message could not be sent. However if I send a very small attachment there is no problem sending to the same address.

Do Plusnet restrict the size of attachments that can be sent as it seems as this could be the problem?

Checked internet speed and we are getting 12meg so no problem with speed.

Any ideas, thanks in advance

Re: Attachments not sending

It could be a restriction at either end but yes, it does look like an attachment size restriction.

I suppose the next step in dismantling the free web will be to charge for delivery by the size of an email..

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Attachments not sending

If you are sending by Gmail, as @7up says, it could be a restriction at either end, but it will not be a Plusnet imposed one.

How big is the total size of the attachments you were trying to send?

Who sent the none-delivery report -if you can remember?

Further edited to add:

If you are sending by Gmail, Outlook is not involved, and vice versa, so which was it?

Re: Attachments not sending

Now sorted.  Gmail limits the size of attachments being sent.
