552 Spam Message Rejected - For inbound Force9 emails - Intermittent
Hi Folks
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sender - 3rd party email account (GMX)
Destination - F9 user accounts
Affected F9 accounts for -
- A friend, whom I email at least weekly
- Myself, (included in To, or CC'd, as inbound tests)
SMTP error from remote server for TEXT command,
host - mx.avasin.plus.net (212.159.9.200)
reason - 552 Spam Message Rejected
Despite all headers containing -
X-Spam-Flag - NO
X-UI-Out-Filterresults - notjunk
Occurs intermittently,
example dates -
- 20191031 @ 1608 GMT
- 20191031 @ 1832 GMT
- 20200429 @ 1737 BST
- 20200501 @ 0806 BST
- 20200501 @ 0830 BST
- 20200507 @ 1715 BST
All messages are -
- text/plain
- Not replies
- Contain no URLs
- Contain no attachments
- Some may contain plaintext smileys e.g. 😉
- Some email subject's are prefixed with an isodate,
e.g. 20200506 - Britain To Celebrate VE Day

Plusnet Server Status - Reports - No issues
Probably entirely coincidental,
but ATM,
this community forum's subdomain
is taking between 25 to > 60 secs
to fully load a single page.
Also this FORM for posting a message is faulty -
Subject - With focus - Displays field focus magenta outline
Subject - With focus - Accepts pasted text
Body - With focus - Displays ZERO outline
Body - With focus - Does NOT DISPLAY any pasted text containing a COLON
