452 ... temporary failure

I've hit another bout of these 452 errors with one specific email address Cry

Here's my email log:

2016.07.27 03:15:56 SMTP (relay.plus.net): End execution

The recipient assures me that his email inbox is *not* full, (in fact its empty).

Someone suggested that this might be  a DNS problem, but a dig of the MX record for the domain shows:

amonra@Charon:~$ dig windrushadv.co.uk mx

; <<>> DiG 9.9.5-3ubuntu0.8-Ubuntu <<>> windrushadv.co.uk mx ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer:

amonra@Charon:~$

The only oddity (if it could be called that) is that this didn't show any AUTHORITY information which a dig of my own domain did:

amonra@Charon:~$ dig perdrix.co.uk mx

amonra@Charon:~$

The last time this happened (for the same email recipient) was some months ago.  I tried to get help from tech support at the time but they seemd quite at a loss to assist Shocked.

TIA

Dave P.

Re: 452 ... temporary failure

Did this problem clear after a while? I saw a few similar reports mid week, but the issue was rectified shortly afterwards.

Re: 452 ... temporary failure

Yes, a couple of days later and all was well.

So yes, temporary, but not necessarily short term.
