@MHalle - My emails are now sending from my devices and being received by intended recipients. I hope it has rectified your stuck emails also.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi. Norab here. I seem to have the same issue with sending email as   RobertGrahamSR7  . I have a desktop running Thunderbird an Android and Iphone running their proprietory email clients.

All have been sending / receiving email without issue for many years. Now none of these devices will send email as i keep getting "login with username failed" or "Couldn't verify account - The username or password is incorrect or POP3/IMAP access isn't turned on for this account" messages. Nothing has changed at my end in any device.

You seem to have instigated some kind of "FIX" for RobertGrahamSR7

is there any way you are able to help me out?

PS.been with freenetname for approx 30 plus years!

Run the email server connection diagnostics - see the link below.  If they work, make sure you are using the exact same details on the email clients.

If they do not work, report back here the diagnostic output.
