xp states dvd-rw as full despite no data.

I have previously used a dvd-rw to store some info. I formated the diska nd now when I go to use it I get the message that the disk is either not a cd-+rw or it is full. The disk is formated usind cdfs file system and state size as 0 bytes

I have nero reloaded on pc along with powerproduced and powerdirector.
I have removed nero's incd program but I still have disks I can't use. XP will not let me burn data to them

All help grately appreciated

I would start by using whatever cd writing software you have on board to "Erase" the CD and see where that gets you.
Then reformat it if you are going to use In CD / Direct CD or similar.

I re-installed incd and enevtually managed to get it to erase the cd for use with nero and other programs. Once done the dvd was useable.

Cheers
