win 2k server NAT setup

Hi
I have a small network with 2k server, connected to an ADSL modem running Internet connection sharing (ICS) to share a connection to all other devices....
I now need to enable DHCP on my server in order to configure it for RIS services- which in turn means i have to stop ICS and start using NAT (in Routing and remote access) ...
I cannot seem to configure this properly - when i enable a dial interface and go into routing interfaces and alter properties (to choose port) the only device it sees is the parallel port!!
anybody come across this- or am i missing samink !!!

forget all that disable you ICS and enable your dhcp for RIS. Set the dhcp to give out the dns and the default gateway as the servers ip. Everything should work fine. As an example if the server is set to
ip 10.0.0.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 then the pc's should pick an ip like

ip 10.0.0.4 subnet 255.255.255.0 default gateway 10.0.0.2 dns(whatever it is )

That would work as far as DHCP,DNS and RIS are concerned but the internet would not work on the client computers becouse the NAT protocol is not active.
