vcf. files

I am trying to port my contacts across from outlook to a mobile phone and the files the phone recognises are vcf. files.

I can put the contact files into a folder as a vcf. file but it seems I can only do one at a time.

I have 200+ contacts to port across and I was wondering if anyone might know how to save all the contacts in outlook as vcf. files after selecting all of them with one click, cos I'll be buggered if I can figure it out!!!!

Many thanks

Most phones support sycronise feature, or at least provide a software CD (of which can be downloaded easily), with software to perform this.

Unfortunately it doesn't, and it looks for vcf. files only, that's why I'd like to save all the contacts (currently .pst), not one at a time, but by selecting all, and with a single click send them to a file that the phone software can pick them all up from.

By design VCF files hold an individual contact. By chance are you looking for a CSV (comma separated values) file? For a bulk conversion of VCF files, you can select all the required files, and then select Actions, Forward as VCard, from where they are placed into a draft e-mail. Then you can save all those Vcards as files from the e-mail to the hard drive.

The above received from helpful folks on http://www.wopr.com which is an amazingly helpful non-Microsoft, Microsoft support forum!

Hope that helps
