rundll32.exe

rundll32.exe is used to start other apps. It looks like it has got stuck or you have been infected so just kill it or reboot.

After a reboot do a full system scan. I also suggest you run spyware and trojan scanners as virus scanners don't pick up that type of infection. See the security software tutorial for links to online scanners and others you can download.

Info and removal instructions can be found here: http://cexx.org/newnet.htm and http://cexx.org/newnetfix.htm

Note: just removing the dll can sometimes cause issues with some running programs - the above links give the correct removal info. It can also effects/reconfigures winsock so correct removal is important. If you get an error on reboot saying the dll cannot be found/loaded, it as not been removed properly

I assume it was found by a spyware scan, if so that tool should have removed it properly but I would check the above links just in case.
