increase the front side bus if your memory can handle it

i would start off in 5mhz increments

my athlon 3200 (2000mhz) is sitting at a front side bus of 210mhz actual giving a cpu speed of 2220mhz. this is on air cooling. however make sure you have a quality heatsink. the retail ones or a £3 jobber are likely to lead to an early death!

i have a 3500+ on its way so i can let you know how it does im looking to get it to 2450 at least!

Go here: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=34
This site is for DFI motherboards but you may get the basics from the site.
If you know what make your motherboard is do a search on Google to see
if there are any forums for that manufacturer.

One more thing there is no FBS on Athlon 64's, but there is HTT ; read here:

My set up:
AMD Athlon 64 3800 (Venice) @ 11 x 265MHz = 2915MHz (up to now)
