hi
running win 98 and 2000
bought a zoom 5506 adsl pci modem
installed ok on 98 but when i have installed it on 2000 and come to reboot i get the blue sceen of death (memory dump)
when i reboot again the modem hardware is
working but no desktop icon...
am i running to little ram only 128
any ideas round this prob would be welcome

Have you tried the card in a different PCI slot?

If you still get the blue screen of death. The first 2 or 3 line posted here will help people decode whats wrong.

I would say 128Mb RAM is too little of win2000 Min I would stay is 256 but 512 would be best.

Whilst the previous poster is correct about 256Mb+ memory being better, Windows 2000 Pro will run perfectly happily with 128Mb.

Lack of memory is not the reason for your blue screens.
