Been thinking about getting this os as i have a 64 bit ready comp.

Is anyone else using this edition? can they give me some feedback please?

Would hate to install only to find it has some major probs.

afaik xp64 is still in beta tho i hear its pretty stable. you may have some problems with hardware drivers.

I'm going to wait until the final release.

MS have promised to swap 32 bit versions for 64 bit versions FOC as long as they aren't OEM copies.

been using windows xp 64bit for about 6 months now.. so far its stable for the beta version..

I was going to but there's no support for my sound card and the missus uses my PC's TV card when she works from home to keep her company and that doesn't work either under x64.

I did try the beta, however wasn't keen on the fact that each time they got a new one out the update facility stopped working. Oh and my other concern was that Norton wouldn't work on it - haven't tried the corporate edition yet that I recently moved to.

If you only have one hard drive m8 then yes you will lose everything so back up all your personal files onto cd/dvd before installing windows 64
