Which Router?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can give some advice.
I currently have a Netgear DG834 modem/router with 3 PC's and an OKI colour laser printer attached.
I would like to use VOIP, but I want to use my normal phone - this is a Phillips cordless phone with 2 handsets and a base station.
I would also like to be prepared for MaxDSL (if and when it arrives) and I am not sure if the netgear is up to it.

a) Do I need a new router?
b) If so, which one?
c) If not, do I need to do anything to the netgear?
d) What other kit do I need for VOIP?

Any help will be gratefully received,
Thanks Stephanie

Which Router?

a) No.
b) N/A.
c) If you've got 4 items attachted to the back of the DG834 already you will want a ethernet hub / switch if you intend to add more items to the network.
d) You'll need a VOIP gateway such as this

Which Router?

Thanks for the info.

a) Do I just plug the VOIP gateway straight into the router?
b) Or would it be better to plug the switch into the router and the gateway into the switch?
c) Does it make any difference if I plug a switch into my router and then plug everything else into the switch or should I use up all the ports on the router before starting to plug anything int the switch?
d) Should I upgrade the firmware of the router to the latest version?

Thanks again
