What printer?

I'm installing a network at home and I have a parallel HP laster printer which I plan to connect to a stand-alone print server.

What printer would you lot recommend for my colour printing? I need to get another parallel printer so that it can connect to my print server.

Cheers.

Just installed an HP Business Inkjet 1200d and very pleased with it. It uses 4 separate ink cartridges and is quite fast too. It has parallel and USB connections. Cost about £120.

HP sell a network version of this as well, at another £100 or so.

Go for a HP printer, they are the best and I swear by them. Once had an Epson and Canon but the quality is rubbish. Ive had 3 printers now from HP.

I concur with leggott, HP do make very robust, reliable printers.

I'd go one further, i'm the IT manager for a school in Coventry, and only ever procure HP printers, whether that's laser or deskjet!

They are absolutely the best. Best build, best output, and most importantly (in my line anyway) best value for money!

I agree with regards to HP printers. They also deal with support problems and RMAs more effectivly than anyone else Ive delat with recently.
