I am thinking of upgrading my motherboard but keep all my other hardwear. Is there a web site that can tell me what motherboard and cpu i need?

Here is a good
site.
It depends on what you want to spend there are many
combinations, also it depends on what the rest of your
equipment is.
Be carefull though if you have an OEM version of XP
(one that was supplied by the manufacturer with your PC)
it wont work if you change the motherboard together with CPU,
you'll need a new version.

It also depends on how old your current setup is. If you care to supply the PC spec, we may be able to say what is worth keeping. Include the type and speed of your processor, type and speed of your ram (RD ram, PC100, PC133, DDR etc) and cards you have and also the PSU power rating i.e. 300W 350W etc.

You ay be able to keep your graphics card (if it's AGP), disks etc but you may need to change lots of other items if they are no longer compatible.
