Unable to search with google, yahoo and IE

Hi all, strange problem this. I can search using google / yahoo from Firefox, however if i launch IE6 the goto www.google.co.uk and try to do a search nothing happens. The same thing happens with yahoo. If i click in one of the subforums eg groups it loads ok. I just cant search from either search engine. I have pop ups allowed for these sites.

Hi David,

Have you tried clearing your cache? You may have corrupt versions of these pages on your system, in which case this could fix it.

Why would you want to go back to IE if you're using Firefox?
But if you really want to do it, have you tried installing the Google toolbar onto IE and searching from that - http://toolbar.google.com

Quite simply because firefox doesn't work properly with all website's!

Until webmasters start writing there sites for firefox aswell as IE sometimes you'll have to fall back on IE to get full functionality from some pages.

took the problem by the horns and done a roll back two days. Works now. Would have liked to have got to the root of the problem though. Thanks everyone for the info.
