Transferring Firefox Settings

I need to know how to move all my firefox settings, passwords and cookies from one computer to another.
Exporting bookmarks is straightforward, and I've just found a password exporting extension that I'm going to try.
Looking for the cookies file is confusing as there are so many. Not sure about the settings transfer.

However, by inputting Start Run %AppData% as directed by one thing I came across, I come up with a folder headed Application Data which contains a folder called Mozilla.
This Mozilla folder is 9.7MB and contains a folder called Firefox and a file called registry.dat.
The Firefox folder contains a folder called Profiles, a file called pluginreg.dat and a file called profiles.ini.

Can I transfer everything just by putting this Mozilla folder on the other machine? It seems to have cookies profiles and all kinds of stuff inside.

Or is that too easy?

firefox, opera and their ilk (as opposed to the evil micr*soft) do seem to try and keep things fairly simple so the chances are it'll work.
why not try it and see? can't do any harm
